Initial Auction Regluation

1. AUCTION REGULATION -ITA-

The initial roster will take place by closed envelope auction with a list of 10 players each, until the completion of the minimum number of 10 players for each Roster.

1.1 LIST’S CREATION

Each GM will have to prepare 1 list of 10 players chosen from the Players List that will be published together with the rules and the excel template to be sent to the Commissioners once finished.

Each list must contain 4 guards, 4 forwards and 2 centers.

The assignment of the role is done on the basis of what is specified in the player profile on the reference site nba.com.

The sum of each list must NOT exceed 100 credits available on 120.

Each list must contain as a minimum requirement:
- Two contract offers x1 year
- Two contract offers x2 years
- One contract offer x3 years

At this point, you make up an entire list like this:
Es.
Jrue Holiday 12 1
Reggie Jackson 2 2
Devin Booker 14 3
Lonzo Ball 5 2
Tj Warren 7 2
Giannis Antetokounmpo 25 3
Joe Harris 6 2
Zion Williamson 8 3
DeMarcus Cousins 1 1
Karl Antony Towns 20 3

Total 100/120

1.2 SENDING AND ENVELOPE OPENING

Once finished, the envelope is to be sent to the Commissioners in excel format with a password no later than the time decided and published by the Commissioners. (see calendar at the bottom)

At the scheduled time, the password will be communicated to the Commissioners who will scrutinize the list, and comparing it with the envelopes of other GMs, will proceed to assign players.

In the event that a player receives only one offer, this is assigned to the bidding team. In the case of several offers to one player, the criteria for allocation are purely economic.

The player is acquired by who offers the highest total remuneration (the total remuneration is obtained by multiplying the annual remuneration by the years of the contract duration, e.g. 8M x 3 years = 24). In the event of an equal offer, the offer with the shortest duration prevails (e.g. 15x1 prevails over 5x3 even though the total remuneration is the same). In the case of an identical offer for the same player, see 1.3.

At the end of each round, the Rosters will be updated so as to move on to the next round of the list adding the players needed to complete the minimum number of 10 players.

1.3 NEXT ROUNDS

The envelope assignment phase proceeds to the bitter end until all the rosters are complete.

It will be communicated by the Commissioners through the Roster sheet, how many players are needed for the next list.

If, for example, in the first round a GM has obtained 6 players, in the second round it will have to make a list for only 4 players, but it is always taken into account the ceiling of 100 credits, the compulsory rules, and the roles.

If in a previous round two identical offers have been made for the same player, this will be announced when the last envelope opening is published with the words "Ballot". After that, when compiling the next list, an increased offer must be made for the player in question. If you do not wish to continue to offer for that player, his absence from the next list will be considered retirement from the offer.

In the event of a ballot, you do NOT have an extra slot to bid on.
E.g. I am missing 3 guards to complete the guard set. I have D.Booker in the ballot. I make 3 bids including Booker. No more, no less.

1.4 AUCTION’S END AND FREE AGENCY OPENING

Players who are still free at the end of this phase are called free agents (or FA).

The end of the auction will be announced on the Facebook page by the Commissioners.

As a consequence, the FA market will be opened and will remain open until the Trade Deadline (January/February).
